It was so great to shoot again with the incredibly talented Nate and his lovely wife/fellow band member Kat. You may remember him from his 2010 session. He’s gained some traction in the music industry since then and is releasing a new album. As we were wandering around the Detroit riverfront looking for cool places, we stumbled upon this incredible, crumbling warehouse with a gritty piano sitting inside. No joke. It was like someone set it up for us. This is one of the reasons I love shooting with these guys, interesting things happen. It also doesn’t hurt that Nate has such a unique, distinctive look and Kat is just plain gorgeous. That, and they are simply awesome people to be around.
