You may remember the fabulous West family from a few other sessions on our blog (last fall, Simon’s newborn session, and their first session.) It’s really incredible to look back on these photographs to see how the kids have grown and changed along with the evolution of my work. To be honest, it makes me a little choked up. I’m so proud of Ashley for continuing to document her family on a regular basis regardless of whether or not someone’s hair is perfect, whether it’s the perfect day out, whether or not she even has time. She has made time again and again to catch key chapters in her family’s life and I’m so grateful that I’ve gotten to be a part of it. One day when they’re all grown up, these kids are going to have hundreds of beautiful images to cherish. Anyhow, enough emoting from me. We literally *just* beat a huge rainstorm and got this session in. It was really fun to do my first mini-session and I plan on continuing these in the future. We got a lot of quick, gorgeous captures in the lush, green height of the summer. I adore these images. Enjoy a few highlights below.

Ashley - Ahh LOVE Jen! I look forward to everytime you take pictures of my family. I may not be a scrapbook mom or remember dates when milestones happened. I am the mom who has half written baby books and who dreams to be organized at some point in my life.
