Meet Rachel and Philip: two of the coolest, most hilarious, and all together most awesome people you will ever meet. Their wedding planning was insane: Rachel, who lives in Seattle, planned the event with her mother, who lives in Ohio, yet they wanted a Detroit wedding (I mean, who doesn’t want the D for their destination wedding?!) because Rachel’s parents were married here many moons ago. The ceremony was held in the same cathedral as her parents’ wedding ceremony: St. Florian’s in Hamtramack (officiated by the coolest priest, by the way), with the reception at the ever-stunning Grosse Pointe War Memorial (Many thanks to New Creations Flower Company for the gorgeous decor and the always fabulous Music Box Productions for the great party!) Rachel and Phil are graduates of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and we *almost* traveled there for photos, but opted at the last minute for a tour de Detroit instead. The day was epic. We had so much fun and it was the perfect wedding to end 2016 on. Rachel and Philip!!!! You two are incredible. Thank you so much for inviting us to take part in your outstanding day.
