Every once in a while, you have moments of clarity. In the midst of all the chaos and confusion that is your normal, everyday life, you get a pause. A break. A breath of fresh air. This is how we feel about northern Michigan. It’s hard to put this sort of thing into words, but I’m trying. When Katie and Matt invited us to document their up north wedding, we were elated. It is truly our most favorite place on earth and just might be the closest place to heaven. Katie and Matt really did a northern Michigan wedding right: natural, national lake shore turned to a spectacular, private event space designed just for them, and shooting locations both on the beach and in an incredible wooded old “pine plantation.” It was an unbelievably amazing event. And as always, it was so much fun to work alongside the talented team at Third Street Films. Katie and Matt: WOW. Your wedding was too incredible for words. Good thing we have a lot of photos. It was our joy, pleasure and honor to be with you in the Great North to capture this monumental event. Thank you. Thank you.
