This cute girl happens to be my not-so-little-anymore cousin. In my family, we have grown up vacationing in northern Michigan and it pretty much owns all of our hearts. So that’s where Amanda wanted to shoot and I, of course, was totally on board. It was awesome shooting in downtown Elk Rapids because it holds a lifetime of memories for both of us. Not to mention that the light is gorgeous and the town is beautifully situated on the east arm of the Grand Traverse Bay. We shot around town and wrapped the session on the beach with the soft, glowy evening beach light. Amanda looked beautiful beyond words and it was really fun to capture these photos for her in a place that we both love. Amanda my dear: Wow, you’re graduating! What the heck? You’ve grown into a smart, kind, stunning young lady and I know you’re going to excel at whatever you choose to do with your life.
